(Zaragoza / Spain) On the site of the World’s Fair of 2008 lies the Hotel Hiberus. Surrounded by the new Congress-Palace of Aragon and the Torre del Agua, the largest river aquarium in Europe, and integrated into the meanders of the river Ebro, this 4-star hotel of the chain Palafox Hoteles combines urban comfort with natural surroundings. With close proximity to the historic center, Hotel Hiberus offers opportunities for events and conferences.
The Hotel Hiberus includes 176 rooms, all facing south, granting a wonderful view over the river Ebro. The 50s Nordic style furniture was created by designer Arne Jacobsen, guaranteeing light-flooded interiors. The architecture of the building relies on glass and wood, giving the interior the right light to shine and providing a warm and elegant ambience. Tropical outdoor areas invite you to relax and the gardens and spacious terraces complete the picture of the exclusive design-hotel.
Zaragoza-based awning manufacturer, Toldos Lucas, was commissioned to furnish Hotel Hiberus‘ pool-area. The family-owned company was founded in 1968 and sells other high-quality shade-solutions and outdoor-furniture apart from its own. The company relies heavily on service and quality to guarantee customer satisfaction. The customer’s specific needs and special requirements are Toldos Lucas’ central efforts.
The connection between nature and modernism reflects in the design of the pool terrace. The wooden floor complements the dynamically shaped, futuristic white furniture with turquoise upholstery. The sleek cantilever Belvedere shades the outdoor seating grouping with its complementing turquoise canopy, harmonizing perfectly with the furniture.
