The “Western & Southern Open” is known as the oldest professional tennis tournament still played in its original city. In this case the suburb Mason in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio (USA). Since 1899 tennis champions have been firing yellow balls over the hardcourt. And German tennis star Boris Becker got one of his many titles here in 1985 while playing against Mats Wilander.
Now the new Food Court has been opened. Visitors can choose from around 14 annualy changing, different cuisines. This year delicacies from the most different cultures are offered. There are Japanese sushi; American burgers; natural food from the middle east; paninis and wraps, Mexican burritos, tacos and nachos; chilis, sandwiches and hot dogs; pizza and mediterranean specialities – and for dessert a variety of ice creams, waffles and cookies.
The shared seating area expands over a spacios green lawn. The cosy seating groups with white chairs and round tables are shaded by many patio umbrellas model Samara. Matching the tennis sport the shades are selected with a powdercoated, white frame and yellow cover. And thus quickly create a pleasant and familiar atmosphere.
